Where can I find a summary of the pros and cons of using separates vs. integrated receivers for home theater?

B) Is it possible to achieve DTS 7.1 surround sound with separates? Almost all amplifiers I’ve seen are mono or two-channel.

What are some of the pros and cons of a HTPC (Home Theater PC) set-up?
