about DTS and DB digital the guy in the cap dont know what hes talking about, there is a very big difference between the 2 sound formats, i always check either in setup , audio, where ever it is that you can set the DTS option if given. DTS totally blows away Dolby digital.
WTF, these guys are supposed to be advising on something they clearly know NOTHING about.
Even my gran could tell the difference between DD and DTS if toggling between them.

Grab a DVD with both soundtracks and try it (with a half decent system)
i use dolby and dts. dts gives you louder and clearer sound than dolby. thats why i allways use dts when its an option on dvd.
I have the simple Logitech X-540, I rewired the sub into a bigger, thicker box. It shakes the windows!

LOL, I bought a $40 stereo surround sound system from walmart that comes with FL, FR, C, RL, RR, and a woofer with speaker. I gotta say that it sounds alot better than all the theaters I’ve ever been to and I live down the road from an Imax AMC. To me even the cheapest systems can sound just as good as the high end ones……but I am also very cheap and would be happy with two cans and a string.

Great episode guy’s,i have to agree about the sub woofer placement. but,if u don’t that big of room,you can place behind the sofa or next to the sofa. they say,putting sub woofer in a corner gives u more db and might sound boomy.
