Do I need special home theater speaker wires for Panasonic home theater SC-HT930 ?

I purchased a used Panasonic home theater that came without speaker wires and instead of red and black connectors it’s got white and blue speaker connectors. I ‘ve tried to used regular speaker wires and got no sound. Do I need special speaker wires and where can I get them ???
