does ur case have fans? if not i would place atleast 1 to make airflow.. cause if theres no airflow then there willbe no cool air introduced into the system and things will get a lil too hot. but yeah i hope u post a vid.

i wouldnt reomend this for gaming… yes it ca get 2-30 fps on cod4.. but thats with everything on low setting.. i would go with a micro atx board with a dual core processor.. but for websurfig and views this is perfect.. little laggy on scrooling… but then again web pages arent meant for a 32″ lcd lol.

I ended up going with the 775 version of the Zotac and an E8400.. Still going to try and go completely passive cooled.. No fans at all… with a little help from a bigass Noctua heatsink..

Well from what I understand, the cpu can be overclocked on this certain motherboard. I wouldn’t want you to do anything you wouldn’t want to do, I was just curious as I was looking to buy this motherboard for light gaming, web surfing and listening to music. I just want to squeeze as much power as I can out of it. XD

yes 64 i dont like 32 bit lol idk y i never like 32… lol
i have 512 set i think.. or i didnt change it back after i cleared the CMOS. lol had to undo an overclock.. lol but i dont know about overclocking the processor.. the gpu work perfect for what it does. i mean yeah it would be cool playing a game on the system. but thats not its purpose.. lol
One more question: did you install the 64bit version or 32 bit of Win7, I am guessing 64. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
Two more questions, what amount of memory do you have set for the gpu and can you overclock the gpu if desired?
Can you try overclocking it to see if the WEI rating changes? I want to see if it can do any better when overclocked to 2.0 ghz.
I can’t see any external slot loading blu-ray drives in newegg either…
I got the M350 Universal Mini-ITX Enclosure.. Going to have a remote mounted drive and probably setup an IR reciever too..
ummm i was gonna say newegg.. but i saw ur in australlia… lol umm that xbox media thing looks kool.. i might.. really i built the computer cause i wanted too lol. dont need a htpc.. lol but did it cause i wanted the board. but yeah im gnna post a vid tomoro. thats if my case gets here. what case did u use?
Pretty much the exact same setup as me! apart from the case.
I really want a slot loading blu-ray drive, but they don’t really seem to exist. At least not for under $500..
Are you using this setup for HTPC? If so are you going to use XMBC?
